    Everyone Making The Same Joke Following Knicks Game 5 Collapse

    On Tuesday night, the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the New York Knicks in Game 5 of the NBA playoffs first round with a final score of 112-106.

    The Knicks had a six point lead with 28 seconds left in regulation and they choked the game away, losing in overtime.

    76ers guard Tyrese Maxey had a big part to play in the win, scoring 46 points on 17 of 30 shooting. He also added five rebounds and nine assists. His top highlights came when he hit an and-one three point shot with 25 seconds left to pull Philadelphia within two. Maxey proceeded to hit a game-tying three-pointer with eight seconds left, ultimately sending the game to overtime.

    Following the game, NBA fans were making the same joke about the Knicks choking the game away in the final seconds.

    The Knicks will try and bounce back to win the series in Game 6 against the 76ers on Thursday, May 2nd, in Philadelphia.
