The New York Knicks are in prime position to advance to the second round, leading the first-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers. They're currently up 3-1, looking to make a deep playoff run with a talented, young roster.

It's a different story out West. The Phoenix Suns got bounced by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round with a clean sweep. This leaves questions for the future of Phoenix's stars like Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker.

ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith believes Booker wants to be in New York, with a Knicks jersey on his back.

"[Devin Booker] might deny it, I haven't spoken to him. I'm just telling you the scuttlebutt in the NBA circles is that brother wanna be in New York," said Smith, via First Take.

Booker is tied with the Suns, after signing a supermax extension in 2022, but Phoenix may want to blow it up.

The Suns don't have a first-round pick from 2025-2030, so their answer may be to trade their assets and rebuild.

If that were the case, Smith is adamant that Booker would be headed to New York.
