NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD released footage on Monday of a woman they are looking to identify accused of pushing and punching another woman in an unprovoked attack at a Midtown subway station earlier this month.

At approximately 8:15 a.m. on Friday, April 19, a 58-year-old woman was at the 28th Street Station on the southbound 6 platform, when the suspect approached her from behind and pushed her against the wall, police said.

The suspect then repeatedly punched the victim in the face and fled the location on foot, traveling to parts unknown.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition and treated for minor injuries.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
