Any terms are as they appear in the article:
District Lion of the Year
The Lynchburg Lions Club received several special awards in recognition of its community service and promotion projects at the recent District 13-OH6 Lions Convention. The club received first place for small division clubs in the governor’s competition, an award presented in recognition of total program activities throughout the year that recognizes local, district and worldwide service projects, fundraising and support of the local community. The club received third place for communications and public relations. Jim Faust received recognition for his service on the district cabinet and Ohio Lions Foundation State Board. The club also received several certificates for donations to special projects. The club thanked the community for its support and urged anyone interested in joining to contact any Lions member.
