Jolly Ramblers Community Tour stops in Gibbon
Twice a year Sandy Pierson organizes area tours that go through the Starland Hutterites Colony. This year the chartered bus of 52 stopped in Gibbon about 8:30 a.m. last Thursday for a light brunch at Mary Jane’s Studio. Then the passengers had time to check out some of the shops. Left: Chelsey Schmidt of CADCO Clothing & More finishes a sale. Right: Carol Black of Cabby’s Fabric & Quilts had a conversation with some of the passengers. Below: Ann Hartmann of The Homeplace Art & Craft & Hartmann Designs explains her wall of puzzles. There was also a golf cart for individuals to check out Dave Black and Black Antiques. Then the group was off to Starland to check out the metal shop and green house and have lunch. On the way home the bus stopped at the Corner Pizza in Winthrop for an ice cream treat.
