Ridgewood Crew Strikes Gold at 2024 City Championships
PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Ridgewood Crew team made a trek to the city of brotherly love this past weekend to compete in the 2024 City Championships. Ultimately, the Maroons sent nine of its 12 boats to the finals, and grabbed three gold medals in the process. Its three first-place finishes tied with four other schools for the most at the meet. The two-day event took place on the Schuylkill River, and featured 82 teams and nearly 550 competitors from the mid-Atlantic region. "This was a large and very competitive meet. Our strong showing proves we're hitting our peak just in time for regionals and nationals. Kennedy Catholic Softball Three-Peats as Division Champs
SOMERS, N.Y. - Kennedy Catholic’s varsity softball team clinched their third consecutive CHSAA Tier 1 North Division Title last weekend. The Gaels’ path to a division three-peat began with an 11-9 victory in extra innings over rival Maria Regina on May 3. Leading the charge was junior Aine Curley, who went 4-4 at the plate with a solo home run.
