New principal for Monument Mountain High School chosen
Great Barrington — Williamstown native Christopher Barnes has been chosen as the new principal for Monument Mountain High School. According to a press release issued on Monday, June 10 by the Berkshire Hills Regional School District, Barnes, who originally was from Baltimore, Md., moved to Berkshire County in 2011.

PHS Graduates: You Always Have a Home Under The Dome
LENOX, Mass. — Pittsfield High School graduates were reminded that they will always have a home under the dome. Under an arch of purple and white balloons, 184 seniors concluded their high school experience at Tanglewood on Sunday. It was the first time in five years that graduation had been held at the Lenox institute. The 2024 class includes more than 50 high honors students, nearly 30 honors students, Advanced Placement capstone degree and certificate recipients, and Seals of Biliteracy in four different languages.

Lee — Lee Elementary held its first-ever Danny Dollar Entrepreneurial Fair on Wednesday, June 5. The fair was sponsored by the Smile Like Jack Foundation. The foundation is in memory of Otis native Jack O’Brien, who tragically passed away at age 20. Jack was a young entrepreneur prior to his death.
