The Statesboro Police Department is investigating a shooting where a victim, who had been shot twice, would not cooperate with officers after suffering non-fatal wounds. Officers also say that the victim was also in possession of suspected fentanyl.
Bill passed to rename Hinesville VA Clinic, honors four Liberty County Vietnam soldiers
LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTGS) — A bill to rename the Veterans Affairs Clinic in Hinesville after four Vietnam War Veterans was officially signed into law. The Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic will be renamed the “John Gibson, Dan James, William Sapp, and Frankie Smiley VA Clinic.” The bill was introduced by Representative Buddy Carter and supported by all Georgia Congressional Delegation Members.
