HALL COUNTY, Neb. — Two people were transported with non-life-threatening injuries following a crash early Monday morning near Grand Island. According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded just before 1:45 a.m. to a rollover crash in the area of Airport Road and St. Paul Road. The sheriff’s office said the driver, a 26-year-old male from Garland, Texas, was driving carelessly northbound on St. Paul Road when he lost control of his 2021 Jeep Gladiator, causing it to roll.

McKinney PD’s Crimes Against Persons Unit seeks help in identifying a suspect connected to a late August assault. On Aug. 26, at about 9:30 in the morning, a cyclist was riding his bike on the trails through Erwin Park when he passed the suspect, who became angry and started cursing at him for an unknown reason. The cyclist sped up to distance himself from the man but as he continued to ride his bike, he saw the same person standing to the left of the trail. The suspect threw a bike in front of the cyclist, causing the cyclist to flip over his handlebars. The suspect then got on top of the cyclist and assaulted him further before getting away and hiding behind a vehicle. The suspect then got back on his bike and left through the trails.
