    Naugatuck police rescue baby goose from storm vent

    NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WTNH) – Officers from the Naugatuck Police Department were able to rescue one of their smallest residents Sunday morning.

    According to police, officers rescued a baby goose after a resident reported that it had wandered away from its family and into a storm drain.

    Officers were able to free the goose from the storm drain and return it to its family.
