PHOTO GALLERY: Fundraiser supports suicide prevention

NATCHEZ — The “Blooming by the River” fundraiser last weekend for Y’all Means All Natchez proved very successful.

“We’ve sold everything, including all the raffles, silent auction items, and the designs that the presenters did,” said John Grady Burns of the Y’all Means All organization. “We were very happy with how our weekend went. It was great. Our organization has connections to people who are high-level experts in their field.”

On Sunday, several of these experts offered presentations of how they would design flower arrangements and place settings next to a silent auction at the First Presbyterian Church.

Presenters at Blooming by the River include Felder Rushing, Susie Person, Ralph Null, Jim Del Prince, Brenda and Bethany Zerby of Moreton’s Flowerland, and Monique Renee, The Floral Anthologist.

All proceeds go to Y’all Means All Natchez’s support of mental health, suicide prevention, and awareness, and grants to youth in need of counseling and scholarships.
