2025 four-star quarterback Madden Iamaleava, the younger brother of Tennessee Vols quarterback Nico Iamaleava, announced his commitment on Saturday.

The younger Iamaleava committed to UCLA on Saturday, choosing the Bruins over Nebraska.

Iamaleava, 6-foot-3/185 lbs from Downey, CA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 11 quarterback in the nation and the No. 12 player in the state of California. He's also rated as the No. 105 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.

“It means everything to be able to stay in Cali and put on for my city,” said Madden to On3 after committing to UCLA. “It’s a blessing to be at such a prestigious institution and have football come with it.”

Madden hasn't received the same amount of hype as his five-star older brother, but he still has the skills to be an elite college quarterback.

The California native has a good arm, great field vision, elusiveness, and above-average leadership qualities. Those traits will serve him well as the Bruins adjust to life in the Big 10.
