Ohio Woman found dead after crashing in DeKalb County
DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - An ongoing investigation is underway by Police in DeKalb after an Ohio woman died after crashing her vehicle. Police with the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said Heather Ward, 35, of Defiance, Ohio, was driving East near the 6100 block on Country Road 64 when her 2018 Dodge Journey suddenly started going North into a ditch.

Derrick Flores, 36, 1539 Terrawenda Drive, pleaded guilty to vandalism, a fifth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was modified to personal-recognizance. Sentencing was scheduled for July 11. Yolanda Jones, 31, Indianapolis, pleaded guilty to OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor. She was placed on probation for two years, fined $1,075 fine and ordered to forfeit a seized firearm. Joseph Taylor, 21, Stryker (CCNO) pleaded guilty to felonious assault, a second-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for June 4.
Swanton man arrested, accused of trafficking cocaine, oxycodone, other drugs
SWANTON, Ohio — A Swanton man was arrested Tuesday on allegations of drug trafficking, according to law enforcement. In a press release issued Wednesday, the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force said they conducted a several months-long investigation alongside crews from the Napoleon Police Department and the Henry County Sheriff's Office. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 40-year-old Andrew Moll, whom police charged with trafficking in drugs.
Lost cows spotted in Defiance city limits, police search for owners
DEFIANCE, Ohio (WPTA) - Police in Defiance, Ohio are tracking some unusual suspects Thursday afternoon. Officers shared on Facebook that they are looking to track down the owners of three missing cows that were spotted along Columbus Avenue earlier this afternoon. They say a concerned citizen called police and reported seeing the loose livestock.
