(SAN FRANCISCO) The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office has charged a 20-year-old San Francisco man with murder and attempted murder in a Mission District shooting in March.

Keshon Wilson allegedly killed a 26-year-old man and injured a 23-year-old man in the shooting, which took place March 29 at approximately 9:05 p.m. in the area of 24th and Mission streets near a BART station.

The 26-year-old man died at the scene. He was later identified by the medical examiner’s office as Isaiah Cardenas of South San Francisco.

The 23-year-old man, whose name has not been released by police, was taken to a local hospital for treatment for life-threatening injuries. Authorities said he later recovered.

When Wilson allegedly committed the crime, 37-year-old Arthur Grady of Stockton was present at the scene. Grady was arrested as an accessory after the fact in the shooting. However, evidence the district attorney’s office obtained “at this time indicates he was not involved so he has not been charged,” according to a district attorney's office spokesperson, per the San Francisco Chronicle.

Wilson is scheduled to appear in court on May 18.

While an arrest has been made, the investigation is ongoing. The San Francisco Police Department is asking anyone with information to call the SFPD's tip line at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 with "SFPD" to start the message.
