Knott's Taste of Boysenberry Festival

Knott's Taste of Boysenberry Festival is a foodie event offering boysenberry-inspired savories, as well as sweet treats and drinks. It's held outdoors and includes over 80 boysenberry-infused foods and drink items.

Since early March, this Los Angeles festival has received many happy visitors and now concludes this Sunday, May 2nd.

Guests can choose from delicious boysenberry-infused items, including pizzas, bakery items, grills, and so much more.

On offer are enticing menu items like hot dogs with boysenberry relish, Philly Cheese Fries with a Boysenberry Onion Topping, Boysenberry Flavored Shrimp and Grits, Cheeseburger with a Boysenberry Onion Spread, Tamale with a Boysenberry Roja Sauce over Spanish Rice.

Sweet treats and tantalizing drinks include Boysenberry Cake with a Boysenberry Cream Cheese Icing, Berry Cider, Frozen Boysenberry Margarita, and Champagne and Boysenberry Ice Cream Float.

Additionally, the festival includes boysenberry-inspired merchandise and handmade and personalized gifts from artisan local crafters.

Newport Beach restaurant week

The 15th annual restaurant week is on at Newport Beach until Sunday, May 2nd.

With over 60 participating restaurants catering for all tastes, some of the diverse cuisines include Mexican, Italian, Indian, Japanese, and favorite grills and seafood, are on offer.

Exclusive offers, prix-fixe menus, and specialty dishes are available. Additionally, besides dining in, there are options to take out meals from dozens of Newport Beach eateries.

Participating eateries include favorites such as Beachcomber Cafe, Harborside Restaurant, Coliseum Pool & Grill, Newport Landing Restaurant, and The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar.
