(OAKLAND, Calif.) Authorities responded to a shooting Tuesday night that left a 26-year-old man injured, East Bay Times reports.

The man survived the shooting but his condition is unknown.

The shooting happened in the 900 block of 61st Street at approximately 8:20 p.m., police said.

Officers responding to the scene discovered the man suffering from gunshot wounds to multiple parts of his body.

Investigators believe that the shooting stemmed from an argument between the victim and the suspect who fled from the scene in a car following the shooting.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for any additional information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
