    Cashier shot after suspects open fire on store

    (OAKLAND, Calif.) Suspects fired numerous shots into a convenience store in West Oakland on Monday night leaving the 28-year-old cashier in serious condition, East Bay Times reports.

    The incident happened at the P and M Market on 34th Street at approximately 11:27 p.m.

    There were also at least two customers inside the shop at the time of the shooting but no one else was injured.

    Police say that the suspects fired rifles into the store from the outside. Investigators say that they are trying to determine the suspect’s motive for the shooting and who their intended target was.

    No arrests have been made.

    A $5,000 reward is being offered for any additional information leading to the arrest of the shooters.
