America 250 Celebration June 13 and June 14 Join the Nathaniel Massie Daughters of the American Revolution as they celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Guests can visit the Adena Mansion to see the historic site, see artifacts and hear stories from interpreters and reenactors. Various America 250 events will be happening around the county in 2026. Bryan White gets ready to perform at the Majestic Theater
CHILLICOTHE— If you were a country fan in the 90's then you definitely know the name Bryan White, a singer-songwriter with millions of album sales. Now, White is preparing to captivate crowds in Chillicothe. White is best known for his songs "God Gave Me You," “Sittin’ On Go," his duet with Shania Twain, "From This Moment On" and more. He has also written songs that went on to be recorded by Diamond Rio, Joe Diffie, LeAnn Rimes and more. National ice cream chain shutters its only Central Ohio location
After just a little over a year of opening, an ice cream chain announced its only Central Ohio location wasn’t heading into the new year with us. Bruster’s Ice Cream, located in Reynoldsburg at 7330 E. Main St., closed on December 31. They took to Facebook to thank their supporters.

Albertinum acquires a key painting by Doris Ziegler, giving voice to the quiet tensions of late GDR life
DRESDEN.- The Albertinum in Dresden has added a powerful and long-overdue work to its collection: Aufbruch Straße (1988) by Leipzig-based painter Doris Ziegler. Acquired with the support of the Kulturstiftung der Länder and its Friends’ Association, the painting strengthens the museum’s holdings of art from the former GDR—an area that still carries significant gaps, especially when it comes to women artists.
