The property Murphy’s Furniture resides on has been sold for development to a new westside U-Haul hub. After weighing all aspects, Mary and Kathy have decided to retire Murphy’s Furniture. The Murphy’s crew wishes to express the deep gratitude we feel for the local community’s business and support. Working with our customers over these past fifty years has been an absolute privilege.

During the month of April, Murphy’s Furniture will continue to be open 7 days a week from 9 to 5 through 4/29. In May, Murphy’s Furniture will be open Friday through Monday, closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Watch social media for updates. We will also text and email customers of record with news “as we go along.” We anticipate operating through the end of June, unless we run out of furniture. If customers would like a specific purchase receipt emailed to them from 2012 - 2024, please email requests listing specific pieces to info@murphysfurniture.net before the end of May.

This is a great time to visit Murphy’s, since we are having a big closing sale, but you might want to stop by sooner rather than later. Though it has not been an easy decision to make, we are looking forward to what our next adventure will be. Murphy's commitment to providing the best quality and service is still our top priority.
