A house in Heidelberg Township that sold for $790,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Lebanon County in the past week. In total, 55 residential real estate sales were recorded in the county during the past week, with an average price of $291,238. The average price per square foot ended up at $199.

Selinsgrove, Pa. — A Shamokin man who was recently arrested for retail theft was charged again, after police traced him to the theft of more than $1,000 of sports trading cards. Donald James Ponatoski, 38, is now facing felony charges for the thefts that allegedly occurred between February and April at the Selinsgrove Walmart store. Trp. Lebanon County officials are looking to use state funds to hire a social worker for the public defender's office clients. Lebanon County Commissioners unanimously approved applying for $95,501 in state funds allocated for the county as part of the Indigent Defense Grant Program. Herndon, Pa. — Police say someone stole a 55-inch Vizio television from a home in Herndon. The victim reported the theft occurred sometime between May 1 and May 10 from their home at the 200 block of North Main Street, according to state police at Stonington.
