Jesse Lee Williams, 40, is charged with murder in connection with the death of Paula Belonga, 51. He was arrested after officials obtained evidence allegedly pointing to his involvement.

JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) - A team roper from Jacksonville took home winnings from three shows over the weekend. Jayse Tettenhorst, 21, placed first in round one at the Tops in Texas Rodeo in Jacksonville for $1,106. He went on to place second in round one at the Panola County Cattleman’s Rodeo in Carthage for another $931, and with a previous sixth place prize of $200 at the Crockett Lions Club PRCA Rodeo, his weekend total was $2,237.
