Maury County Firefighters Extinguish Blaze Sparked by Bird’s Nest
May 23, 2024 – Yesterday at 6:32PM, Maury County Fire units were dispatched to a reported detached shop/garage fire on Hickory Ridge Trail. Units arrived to find flames from the front fascia area and peak and were able to quickly get the fire under control. An extensive overhaul was required to ensure the fire was out. The fire was caused by a bird’s nest on a security light.
