Kinston woman arrested on first-degree murder charges
KINSTON - A Kinston woman is behind bars after being charged with attempted first degree murder by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office. Kendra Sasha Edmondson, 36, was taken into custody after allegedly stabbing Jaquez Rasheem Herring, 31, of Kinston, in the neck. LCSO deputies were dispatched to the 1600 block of Bonnie Lane in Kinston shortly after 2 a.m. today for a report of a person being stabbed.
