Suspects Arrested in Three Commercial Burglaries in Torrance
Three suspects have been arrested in what authorities called three unrelated commercial burglaries overnight in Torrance, police said Wednesday. The crimes occurred between 11:55 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday in the 21700 block of Western Avenue, the 16400 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, and the 1900 block of Torrance Boulevard, according to the Torrance Police Department.

Fifth suspect arrested in connection with killing of 51-year-old Long Beach veteran
A fifth suspect has been arrested in connection with the possible gang-related shooting that left a U.S. Army veteran dead in Long Beach in early-April. The shooting happened back on April 5, at around 6:45 p.m. in the 600 block of E. 61st Street, according to Long Beach Police Department investigators. Neighbors told police that Mario Morales-Moreno, 51, was outside of his home gardening when he was hit by one of the shots fired during the incident, leaving him dead at the scene.
