Gallia Academy's Class of 2024 to graduate May 17
GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WV News) — Gallia Academy High School will hold its 2024 graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. on May 17 in the school’s gymnasium. Nathanael Baird is the representative for the top 10% of the class. Baird will speak at the ceremony, as will Superintendent Craig Wright. Principal Lisa Jo Blakeman will provide a welcome address, make introductions and present the class. Diplomas will be presented by Robert Neal. The GAHS Band will perform, as will the GAHS Madrigals.

Rose Etta was born in Scio, OH on May 30, 1947, to the late Charles Lewis and Betty Stone Cerett. She was a graduate of WVU Parkersburg, a retired Accounting Manager with Performance Energy and a Mary Kay Consultant.

BUFFALO, W.VA. (WCHS) — In Class A, Buffalo doubled up Ravenswood 6-3 to advance to the state tournament. Buffalo will face Petersburg in game two on Wednesday, May 22. Kelsey Brock had a pair of hits for Buffalo, including a triple and it was also a two-hit night for the Bison's Kimmie Dillman. Brooke Meadows hit two doubles for Ravenswood.
