Over $1 million raised during Vandal Giving Day at U of Idaho

MOSCOW, ID -- The University of Idaho brought in over $1.1 million during their annual philanthropic event, Vandal Giving Day.

The fundraiser ran from April 2-3 for 1,889 minutes to celebrate the founding year of the school. According to U of I, the money raised this year smashes the previous record in 2023 by over $300,000.

Vandal Giving Day raises money for scholarships, colleges and programs across the university.

“We are grateful for the many individuals and organizations that chose to make a difference for our hard-working students and high-quality programs during Vandal Giving Day,” President Scott Green said. “It’s inspiring to see the worldwide Vandal Family come together in this way to make a powerful impact for our university and our state.”
