Adventure Underway at Henryetta Library
Monday was the first meeting of the 2024 summer reading program at Henryetta Public Library, themed “Adventure Begins At Your Library.” Kathy Crosby talked to the kids about the different kinds of adventures they could have in the library. She told them that they could travel around the world, go into space, solve mysteries and hunt for dinosaur bones. All they have to do is read books and use their imagination. She then read to the kids “Mission to Mars” by Wendy Wax. The children then made library journals that they can write all kinds of adventures they can have in.
