Morgantown announces 40+ event lineup for 2024

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Morgantown residents can look forward to community events just about every week in 2024, according to a new announcement from Main Street Morgantown.

The first of the planned events will be in early April and more are scheduled out until December. The city also announced its usual slate of parades, although the exact dates for most of them have yet to be announced.

Some of the 2024 events highlighted in in the press release include the West Virginia Birthday Party on June 15, Hops on the Mon on Oct. 5 and the Spring Arts Walk on May 4 (hopefully along with some unique Star Wars-themed creations).
