Bowling Green offering Summer Youth Lacrosse Program
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Registration to join the local youth summer league ends on June 14. All games and practices will be held at the Lampkin Park Limestone Turf Field on Woodway Street. There are four divisions offered in the program, elementary (K-4th grade), junior high (5th-8th grade), boys high school (9th-12th) and girls high school (9th-12th).
Isenbarger places 21st in NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships
The NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships took place Saturday afternoon, where WKU was represented in the high jump by senior Katie Isenbarger. Isenbarger is the first woman to compete at the outdoor championships for WKU in the high jump, as well as the first woman to represent WKU at the outdoor championships since Annastacia Forrester in 2019. She cleared 1.77 meters at the championships, which placed her 21st and earned her All-American Honorable Mention honors.

Bowling Green man found guilty on multiple charges related to terrorism
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been found guilty of several terrorism charges. After a seven-day trial, a federal jury found Mirsad Hariz Adem Ramic, 34, of Bowling Green guilty of providing material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), conspiring to provide material support to ISIS and receiving military type training from ISIS, according to the United States Attorney’s Office, Western District of Kentucky.
