Thomas University: A Hidden Gem
Thomas University was ranked No. 1 on the 30 Top Hidden Gems Colleges in Georgia list by Online School Guide, a resource for online education. The ranking was based on small schools in Georgia with excellent academic reputations, the cost of attendance and the number of online offerings. Georgia has over 30 private colleges and universities including some of the nation’s top historically black institutions and some of the best private universities in the country.

Thomasville Bulldogs name Kimmel as new girls soccer coach
Jun. 5—THOMASVILLE — After a decent season that saw the Lady Bulldogs soccer team finish 8-6-1 with a first round playoff exit, Thomasville High School has hired Lucas Kimmel as their new girls head soccer coach. Kimmel has spent the last couple of seasons as an assistant coach with the boys squad and was a member of the staff on the 2019 Bulldog team that won the 2A state title.
Thomas Co. museum undergoes maintenance to preserve its history
