    Montezuma man cited after crashing van into Dollar General then leaving

    PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Montezuma man has been cited for multiple infractions after the Parke County Sheriff said he left the scene after crashing his van into a Dollar General.

    According to Sheriff Jason Frazier, the incident occurred at 9:32 p.m. on Tuesday at the Dollar General store on Crawford Street in Montezuma.

    Frazier said the van struck the building causing minor damage.

    Deputies reportedly found the van a short time later at a nearby residence. After investigation, deputies cited Jonathon Sanderson, 55, with operating a vehicle with a suspended license, failing to have vehicle insurance, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
