Monroe, La. (KTVE/KARD) — The fourth annual Beast of the Week All-star game went off without a hitch, and it also left many fans in attendance shocked at the performances that were put on display from many seniors that participated from all across the south region.

He participated in the eighth grade three-point contest and took everyone by surprise when he flashed a masterclass at of shooting the rock and soared to victory to hoist the trophy.

Hines wasn’t quiet done, he continued to have the hot hand when the eighth-grade all-star game started and torched the defense that featured multiple players from the reigning champion Martin Luther King JR. Middle School team. Hines scored over 20 points in the game and took home even more hardware when he was named the game’s Most Valuable player. After the game, he was beyond excited by the display he put on in all the events.

“It felt good because I played with a lot of confidence with the way I shot the ball tonight, and I played well and so did my teammates,” said Hines. “I’m not going to say I’m a champion, but I feel like I am a champion.”
