Barrington Drive shooting leaves one dead; police searching for suspect
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - UPDATE: Monroe Police are searching for a man following a deadly shooting that happened on the 2900 block of Barrington Drive. On April 26 at 12:28 p.m., MPD officers responded to the shooting. Authorities said when they arrived they found one man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Monroe PD seize over 10 pounds of narcotics during drug bust; suspect arrested

(KTVE/KARD) — On April 24, 2024, at 2 PM, officers of the Monroe Police Department received information from a confidential informant that a male subject just obtained a large amount of narcotics to sell. Authorities were advised that the narcotics were delivered to the Mary Lee Apartments on Desiard Street.
