    Woman, man arrested after using fraudulent debit card: Mobile Police

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A woman and man were arrested Monday after allegedly using a debit card that didn’t belong to them, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.

    41-year-old Crystal Diane Echols of Mobile and 38-year-old Kolin Jevon Boyd of Gautier, Mississippi were arrested on Monday.

    According to the news release, officers were called to Boot Barn around 11:30 a.m. Monday for a report of fraudulent use of a debit card.

    When they arrived, officers found that a person had used a person they did not know’s debit card to buy items in the store.

    Officers found two suspects, Echols and Boyd, in the store.

    At the time, Echols was in possession of drugs, according to the release. Boyd had an active warrant, the release said.

    Echols was charged with theft of property, fraudulent use of a credit/debit card and possession of a controlled substance, according to the release.
