Mobile woman arrested in connection with Dollar General robbery: MPD

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A woman was arrested Monday in connection with a robbery at a Dollar General on April 16, according to the Mobile Police Department.

33-year-old Kendra Regina Mitchell was identified as a suspect and arrested Monday, a department release said.

A previous MPD release said officers were called to a Dollar General on Airport Boulevard Tuesday, April 16, just after 7 p.m. for a robbery report.

When officers arrived, they found that two women had allegedly attempted to steal items from the store. One of the women allegedly threatened to assault an employee before leaving.

The two women were gone by the time officers arrived, the release said.

Mobile Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
