One sculptor is making his way back to Starkville for a week-long visit. The Del Rendon Foundation and Mississippi Arts Commission’s newest artist in residence at the MacGown Art Retreat and Studio (MARS) is Lawson King. King will be in town May 11 - 17. King has previously done a sculpture for the Travis Outlaw Center, located at 405 Lynn Lane, called “Empty Handed.”
