Minnesota Vikings OTAs: Everything from Day 2

The Minnesota Vikings are a few months away from the start of the 2024 season but right now it's the beginning of this iteration of the Vikings suiting up on the practice field.

This is the beginning of phase three of OTA workouts. This allows the coaching staff to get the players on the field for 7-on-7, 9-on-9 and 11-on-11 drills. They can't have contact during these practices, but they are impactful for installs.

We will see a lot of different things throughout OTAs and mandatory minicamp but who we haven't seen yet is superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson. He didn't make his appearance at OTAs, which is exactly what happened last season. Jefferson appeared at mandatory minicamp and all of training camp but sat out the optional portions of the offseason program.

We also got to see J.J. McCarthy once again throw in a Vikings uniform, a sight that will become more and more common over time. Dallas Turner was also on the field and continues to look the part on the field with his electric movement skills.
