Twin Cities cancer center is opening its doors to the public on May 18-19

For the first time ever, we’re opening the doors of one of our cancer research facilities to the public for Doors Open Minneapolis! Stop by the Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building (CCRB) on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities – East Bank campus on either Saturday, May 18 or Sunday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day to explore hands-on exhibits, meet our researchers, take a look at cancer research lab studies and equipment, get yourself screened, and enjoy some snacks.

As Minnesota’s Cancer Center, MCC has served the entire state for over 30 years, providing leading cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship services. Our team of doctors, nurses, scientists, and educators is determined to be a resource for you in all seasons and walks of life, whether you’re looking to reduce your cancer risk, get tips on when and who should be screened for cancer, learn more about new medicines and therapies developed by our scientists and doctors, and receive support while navigating a cancer diagnosis for you or a loved one.

At MCC, we recognize that life after a cancer diagnosis is a lifelong change to your health and lifestyle. It is a new path that not only affects you but also your family and loved ones. Our goal is to provide valuable resources and information to help you navigate the many questions that arise throughout a diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Through our events, programs, and community partnerships, we are proud to be a resource for everyone who lives in Minnesota, as well as people from around the U.S. and across the world.

Registration is not required to attend this free event.
