Chloe Lamb, a former South Dakota standout and Summit League player of the year, has been hired as the director of player development / assistant coach for the Gophers. Lamb played for Minnesota head coach Dawn Plitzuweit from 2017 to 2022 at South Dakota.

For the past two years, Lamb has been an assistant coach at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Who will Vikings, other local teams take in NFL Draft?

“I am extremely grateful to Coach Plitzuweit, the staff and administrators for the opportunity to work at the University of Minnesota,” Lamb said in a Minnesota news release . “I’m excited to learn from this staff in a new way, while being a part of the incredibly competitive Big Ten conference. I’m thrilled to team up with Coach Plitzuweit again and can’t wait to get to work with our team.”

The Onida native rejoins Plitzuweit after the Gophers went 20-16 and reached the WNIT championship in Plitzuweit’s first season.
