It is safe to say that Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley has had better days than Thursday's showing.

It was a trifecta of terrible for the 35-year-old guard, who saw his team get eliminated from the playoffs, his mistreatment of a reporter after the game go viral, and also saw him get into an altercation with a fan. With a little over two minutes remaining in the game, Beverley was shown launching a basketball at a fan behind the bench.

After hitting a bystander, the fan threw the ball back to Beverley who again launched it into the crowd.

NBA insider Shams Charania took to social media on Friday to reveal what sparked the interaction, and for those already mocking Beverley it gave them another reason to.

Charania reported that the fan yelled, “Cancun … Cancun on 3" in the direction of Beverley and the Bucks. It was also believed that there were some pleasantries exchanged before the ball was thrown.

The NBA is looking into the tiff between Beverley and the fan, but Beverley downplayed it when asked about it after the game.

“Nah, don’t worry about that. Nothing.”

Whether it be for the incident with the fan or the reporter, Beverley is expected to have some sort of punishment come up from the league.
