Milton (Ga.) four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley is getting looks at Georgia from every angle that he can in his recruitment.

Last weekend, the No. 43 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Rankings made a seventh visit to Georgia. Wiley took part in Georgia’s scavenger hunt event in Athens.

In that experience, Wiley got a good opportunity to do something he hadn’t done with Georgia up to this point in his recruitment.

“It was big because it gave you a chance to build relationships,” Wiley said. “It was big to talk to them (the coaching staff) about stuff outside of football. Building a relationship with a lot of the guys (is what stood out the most).”

Wiley traveled alongside his high school teammate and four-star Georgia tight end commit Ethan Barbour.

He and Babour have played together in the past but now play alongside one another at Milton after spending their first two years of high school at Alpharetta High School.

Wiley felt that he and Barbour had a chance to connect during the trip over to Athens.

“I came down with my teammate Ethan so we connected a lot,” Wiley said.

CJ Wiley remains a major priority for Georgia

Georgia’s coaching staff took time to hammer home a message. It’s one that the four-star wideout has been getting regularly for the last few months.

“I’m a priority for them (was the message),” Wiley said.

Georgia’s offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and wide receiver coach James Coley were both in attendance for Wiley and Barbour’s spring game back on Friday night ahead of the visit.

Both coaches have been heavily involved in courting the top receiver in the state of Georgia. The Bulldogs are considered a heavy contender.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine has Georgia as Wiley’s leader. The Bulldogs have an 81.5 percent chance of landing Wiley according to RPM.

He’ll be back on campus on June 14 for his official visit to Georgia.
