Get set, go. The MIAA divisional state championship track meets are underway across the state. MetroWest and Milford-area athletes brought home six titles on the opening day. They make up a large portion of Thursday's Fantastic Five (or so) athletes, but there's room for lacrosse milestones and big-time victories.
HALEY BILODEAU, Blackstone Valley Tech girls track and field
She won the Division 3 state championship in the 400-meter hurdles, setting a meet record in 1 minute, 3.4 seconds.

KENNY KALVINEK, Blackstone Valley Tech boys track and field
He won the Division 3 state discus championship with a toss of 164 feet, 7 inches. That set a new school record. Westborough's Sebastian Grillo took third (154).
MAGGIE KUCHMAN, Holliston girls track and field
She outlasted the competition to win the Division 4 state title in the 800 in 2:17.31. Holliston's Izzy Ross finished third in the 200 (25.29). Wayland's Caitlin Heus-Smith finished second in the triple jump (36-1.5), and Elena Mente cleared nine feet for third in the pole vault.
ANNA MAGENNIS, Ashland girls lacrosse
The UConn-bound senior registered her 300th career point when she scored four goals with an assist in a 17-6 win over Holliston. Paige Tripp had three assists and two goals for the Clockers (14-6, 11-4 Tri-Valley League). Ashland's Lili Vitti netted a hat trick, while Julia Schreiber (two assists) and Morgan Dubanowitz had two goals each. Payten Tripp had two assists and a goal for Ashland.

JACKSON MASTROIANNI, Blackstone Valley boys lacrosse
He poured in eight goals with three assists and scored his 200th career goal in a 14-7 win over Oakmont. Jamie Nelson had four assists and two goals for the Beavers (13-5), while Jack Eastwood found the net twice.

PARKER ROGERS, Marlborough boys track and field
He cleared 167-6 in the discus to win the Division 4 state championship.
KATELYN WINCHESTER, Westborough girls track and field
She soared to 10-7 in the pole gault to capture the Division 3 state title. The Rangers went 1-2-3 in the event, as Callie Meggison was second and Imani Curran third, both at 9-6.

MILLIS 9, West Boylston 8 (8): Lindsey Grattan scored the winning run in walk-off fashion and contributed two hits for Millis (9-10). Millis' Alicia Ellis, Isabella Briones and Zoe Sparks dropped in two hits each.

MILLBURY 5, Marlborough 0: Marisol Burgos and Madison Demos both went 2-for-3 for the Panthers (10-8).

HOLLISTON 8, Medway 2: Lucas Haynes put away a hat trick for the Panthers (8-8).
Girls lacrosse
MARLBOROUGH 14, Monty Tech 4: Ella Hobin accumulated eight points with five goals and three assists for the Panthers (5-10). She also won eight draw controls.
WESTBOROUGH 16, Nashoba 11: Cayla Ehrlich put away six goals and distributed two assists for the Rangers (16-3). Westborough's Mackenzie Gate (assist) and Regan Kittredge each had a hat trick.
LINCOLN-SUDBURY 8, Franklin 1: Harper Friedholm (two ground balls, two draw controls, three caused turnovers) and Ava Vadgama contributed five points each for the Warriors (14-2). Friedholm had a hat trick with two assists, while Vadgama scored twice with three assists. L-S' Lydia Canavan won four draw controls and scored once, while Lydia Mossi made eight saves with two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
TANTASQUA 11, AMSA 5: Clare Jackson found the net twice for the Eagles (14-4).
TAHANTO 14, Nipmuc 9: Fallon Lozano put away five goals for the Warriors (14-5) in the Central Mass. Class B championship game at Foley Stadium.
Girls tennis
WESTBOROUGH 4, AMSA 1: Sahasra Kommineni led the way for the Rangers with an 8-1 win over Saisha Kolluri at No. 1 singles. Westborough No. 2. Nicole Nguyen defeated Ava Daly 8-3. The Rangers (12-5) swept the doubles points. Elena Chen and Raina Bettadpur bested Katina Gakis and Stella Damoloukis 8-2 at No. 1, while the No. 2 pair Ella Glasgow and Anisha Saketi won 8-1 against Sasha Ghai and Kate Allison. AMSA's Sameera Patnala took down Ava Jacobs 8-1 at No. 3 singles.
WELLESLEY 5, Brookline 0: The Raiders swept the singles points. Bella Gopen (first singles), Kimmy Tai (second) and Sarah Mackey (third) prevailed 6-0, 6-0. Shea and Shannon Welburn won 7-6, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, and the Raiders No. 2 team of Mia Chung and Sari Hart earned a 7-6, 6-0 win.
