Convicted felon faces gun and drug charges in Milford

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – A convicted felon was arrested on gun and drug charges Saturday in Milford.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a breach of peace at the Milford Inn, located at 345 Old Gate Lane. The victim told police that a man, later identified as Raquan Brown, was banging on her motel door.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Brown in his vehicle. Officers searched his vehicle and found an array of items, including a 9mm handgun, a 10-round magazine, a steak knife, two bags of meth.

Brown was arrested and charged with three counts of weapons in a motor vehicle, carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm, breach of peace and possession of a controlled substance.
