    No injuries reported after 2 cars catch fire in Middlefield

    MIDDLEFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – Fire officials in Middlefield say no injuries were reported after two cars caught fire in a home’s driveway early Thursday morning.

    Officials from the Middlefield Volunteer Fire Company said they were dispatched for a vehicle fire shortly after 12:30 a.m.

    Upon arrival, they found two vehicles on fire with flames extending to an attached garage.

    Firefighters were able to limit damage to the garage, and prevent any damage to a nearby home.

    The fire is being investigated by the Middlefield Fire Marshals Office.
