See a Motown legend perform for free this weekend in Elkhart
ELKHART, Ind. (WNDU) - A local entertainment and DJ service is kicking off “Classic R&B Nights” with a bang in Elkhart this weekend!. Legendary Motown artist Darryl Buchanan will be performing on Sunday evening at the Corner Bar inside Hotel Elkhart. Buchanan has previously worked with other music legends such as the Temptations and James Brown.
New Paris Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony schedule
NEW PARIS, Ind. - The New Paris Chamber of Commerce and the New Paris Boy Scouts, Troop 12, will host the annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Sunday, May 26. The parade will start at 2 p.m., from Main and Market Streets and will proceed to the New Paris/Jackson Township Cemetery.
Elkhart Police 5K-9 Run and 1 Mile Walk

Quilt Gardens, Quilt Murals back in season
ELKHART — Participants began rolling up their sleeves Thursday in anticipation of planting 13 colorful Amish-quilt themed gardens across the county. This is the 17th year for the gardens, a project of the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau (ECCVB).
Symphony presents ¡Fiesta Sinfónica! featuring guest artist Lalo Cura
ELKHART — Goshen-based Spanish Rock band Lalo Cura is the guest artist as the Elkhart County Symphony concludes its 2023-24 concert season with ¡Fiesta Sinfónica! on Sunday. The program is at 4 p.m. May 19 at The Lerner Theatre in downtown Elkhart.
Park Bench Fitness helps families be more active
GOSHEN — Goshen Health launched a collaborative project last fall to increase physical activity in local parks. By scanning a QR code located on signs near benches, the Park Bench Fitness program gives community members access to free exercise videos in English and Spanish that give participants an opportunity to get a full body workout using nothing more than a simple park bench.
