MICHIGAN CITY — Franciscan Health Michigan City will offer the six-week FIT-Together program for households with children between the ages of 8 and 15. The program is a family-centered approach to health and wellness. Attendees will learn the seven Cs of family resilience, including control, competence, coping, confidence, connections, character and contribution through individual and family-centered physical activities and tips. FIT-Together takes place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. CDT on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 4 to July 18 (no program on July 2 or July 4) at The Temple Total Fitness Center, 1914 E. U.S. 20. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes to all sessions. The program is free, but registration is required.
