Sshhh . Edgewater peeps, you have a new place to chill. Don’t tell your friends in Brickell.

In all seriousness, the Canvas Bar may be the perfect happy hour spot, with shareable comfort fare, handcrafted drinks as well as old- school entertainment (it has a mini arcade).

The new Canvas Bar in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood includes a section with an arcade.

The interior is evocative of a tropical island getaway, with palm trees galore, bamboo furniture and a relaxed vibe, including eight flat-screen TVs.

But probably the coolest thing about Canvas, which is owned by The Graspa Group (of Segafredo, Spris Pizza, Salumeria 104, Osteria fame), is its so-called speaky-tiki.

The Polynesian-themed secret speakeasy meets tiki bar in the back is called the Kaona Room. There you’ll snap pics in the 360-degree photo booth, groove to a live DJ and tuck into exotic cocktails from just $10, like the Ciao Bella (gin, Italicus bergamot liqueur, prosecco, with a twist of rosemary).

Perhaps the best part of your Canvas experience? No need for an Uber.

“We’re eager to play a role in the area’s ongoing development, particularly with the construction of more residential buildings, it’s evident that there’s a need for a neighborhood hub — a place where everyone can unwind over good food and drinks in a relaxed setting,” says general manager Giuseppe Castiello. “While Miami is known for its upscale venues, we noticed a yearning among locals for a more approachable atmosphere, which is why we created a hang-out haven where everyone is welcome.”
