Miami Heat star launches new doughnut, coffee at The Salty

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is taking his talents to the kitchen for a new pastry-and-coffee pairing in collaboration with local doughnut powerhouse The Salty.

State of play: Butler and his Bigface Coffee brand are launching two new menu items today through April 21 at all The Salty locations.

• The churro croughnut ($5.50) is made with a 24-hour brioche croughnut tossed in cinnamon sugar, filled with cinnamon mousse and topped with mini churros and caramel glaze.
• The new Cinnamon Citrus Capp ($6) is a caffeinated concoction of Bigface espresso, fresh orange and cinnamon syrup, and your choice of milk.
• The pairing is $10 if purchased together.

A portion of the sales will benefit Project Backboard, a nonprofit that renovates public basketball courts and installs large-scale, site-specific artwork.
