    How and where to watch the eclipse in Miami

    Miami isn't in the path of totality for Monday's eclipse, but you can still catch a glimpse of the big show.

    Why it matters: The next eclipse in North America won't be for another two decades. So even though only part of the sun will be obscured here, it's worth your time.

    Zoom in: The eclipse will cover 45% of the sun around Miami.

    • It begins at 1:47pm and reaches peak coverage at 3:01pm.
