Chainsaw shoplifters wanted in other thefts

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Millington police say a pair caught on camera stealing a half-dozen chainsaws from a Lowes last month are responsible for numerous thefts throughout Shelby County.

In the Facebook video, the suspects are seen ripping the Husquarna Chainsaws from a display area at Lowes along Highway 51.

The suspects left the store in a white Nissan Mirano with Tennessee Temporary tags.

6 wanted for armed robberies, assaults in Midtown

Millington police said on April 19, a lone shoplifter stole several Husqvarna Chainsaws secured by cables and drove off in a gray Chevrolet minivan. Investigators have not said if the two crimes were connected.

Some of the Husquarna Chainsaws sell for over $600 at Lowes.
